To preserve the operational integrity of the SAMS system and mitigate risks associated with winter weather conditions, the Calvià City Council has completed the preventive removal of all smart buoys from its beaches. The operation, awarded through a public tender to the company PROMANSUB, was carried out within three days and included the retrieval, transportation, and storage of the buoys at municipal facilities.
Similarly, the multisensors and their structures were dismantled for cleaning and to apply the recommended maintenance, as were the beacons and masts.
Two months before the start of the summer season, all equipment will be inspected and prepared for its subsequent deployment.
